I haven't even started tear apart yet and I WILL have it done by mid March. This way I've got plenty of time to get all the kinks worked out and be set for the track come April!!!

No way possible here...this year is all about paying off bills and getting ready so that I dont have to cut any corners. Right now though the current idea on the table is an HCI N20 fox as something to play with till I get the money for the new LSX block...Then its gonna be between 430-450 cubic inches(as I have not yet worked out the bore and stroke details but you can take that thing over 500 cubes) with a th400 and 2 stages. long term goal is some where near the 8.70s to 8.90s.

I will have the 9", drag springs, TA, LCA, dual stage nitrous done. But the wife's car needs a motor. Anyone have a 2.4L for a 2002 Sunfire? So I think I will have cam ahd heads by April and the short block will come a couple months later.

My engine should be in this weekend....Then well, if it starts, Ill re-paint it when it gets nicer out. Though I still gotta weld up my intercooler pipes, and sort out my motor mount issue....
And re-do the interior....And replace all the locks....And fix the window motors....yaaaa.....Ill just look forward to getting it running again.

I havnt decided when I will work on mine. Got some new treats for the Teggy comming soon. Just too damn cold to work on it cuz I dont have a garage. Im hoping to run at least 17.5 sec in the 1/4. That would be awsome.

Hope to. Just put motor and trans in yesterday. Need to do cage get the rear end back and do a fuel system.

Thanks douggie, just the current dream on the table it'll change by next week anyways to something else. The HCI N20 fox part is kinda realistic but the LSX setup is a big time dream but its something that would be a very long term project if it would ever get underway. |

well my car is sitting in Fulton IL getting a completely re built torque box set up all new floor pans and a roll cage after that it will start to get painted if I could just figure out what color it is gonna be I was gonna go with sunset Orange but PPG said they would sponsor the car and donate all the paint and materials and they said I can do any color or colors that I want so I'm gonna go up and try to pick out a color that will look nice but I have no imagination so its gonna be hard to decide Iv got most of the stuff for my fuel system and everything to finish the motor I am hoping it will be done by mid April but only time will tell!!!

ryanz28, do you work at Lowes? Jesse No sir my fiancee drives the car 90% of the time however she did manage to find a card that was left by someone though ;D. I personally dont really have a desire to drive it too much anymore I absolutely hate the automatic and 2.73s in it but she is happy so it makes life easy on me to just give her the car and get something else that I would enjoy more. |

Mine although it's nothing out of the ordinary will be done in no more than a week after I finally find a tranny for it.
The yellow SN95 GT that was basically stock with Saleen chromes on it last season. That now has more mods on it than anyone should have the money to or get done in a single winter will be done by mid April. This is my buddies and I speak on his behalf because he's "too cool" for forums, or he just doesn't really care or know how useful they can be. It's pretty nasty.
