Did they tune it for 91 then? Solid numbers... any word from them on reliability at that power level?

Did they tune it for 91 then? Solid numbers... any word from them on reliability at that power level? They installed an in-tank replacement pump, that was the Lingenfelter unit. I'm assuming they put 91 back in it. I'll ask and make sure. Otherwise they said it was perfectly safe and reliable and expected no issues for quite some time. I understand it's all a gamble at this point anyway. Just hoping it lasts long enough for me to stash away some dough if/when it does eventually pop.

The twitchy rear end stopped with the tires I put on last year, the Nitto 555R-II's. Last night, I gave her a good run a few times. I was floored in 2nd and it was perfect traction, it just pulls like hell. I ran through 2nd and 3rd gears with my foot to the floor and it's just planted, no spin whatsoever.

Matt, Thanks for the feedback on the Nitto 555II's. After talking to you I ordered a set and all I can say is WOW. What a difference froth factory Goodyear Supercars.

Awesome! I'm ready to order my 2nd set real soon here. They can be driven in the rain, just be careful and take it slow. I've been caught in several downpours with standing water and around 50 or so it's relatively safe. The back end was hydro planing too much at 70 in pouring rain. I did that on the way home from Bowling Green last year. Just let traffic go around me, no big deal. I think I have close to 10,000mi on mine right now and they still have a bit of life in dry weather. The centers are down to the wear bars, so I will probably stay out of heavy rain until I get them replaced. Enjoy!

Thanks for the ride Saturday, I was extremely impressed with how well the car hooks up on the street. Once you get the launch sorted you are going to be extrenely happy with your track times. (Until they boot you!)

(Until they boot you!) You're welcome! Too bad we never really got a good stretch to give it hell. I won't mess around in first next time, we'll go a bit less throttle for hook and go. It's a lot more fun. ;D
