Spent a little time with Jake of Fuel and Air Tuning tonight to adjust the tune a bit. First step in the process to get it more road race friendly. Knocked the car down in power a little to 610rwhp, but should be a bit more safe to thrash for 20-30min at a time on the track. Still have a handful of things that I want to get done: DRM oil cooler, DeWitts Radiator, SPAL fans, Corbeau A4 seats, RSD bolt-in 6pt roll bar, harnesses, etc.

Just now getting my hearing back... Also good to know that Bert's Dyno dynos appear to be spot on with speed inc's... Aka typical dynojet numbers.

Had the chance to race my dream car at the Chicago 1/2 Mile Shootout last weekend. Eased it off the line because of clutch engagement problems, then dropped the hammer once I could feel the rear load up. The GT ripped me out of the hole and took the lead by a couple car lengths and I didn't start pulling him back until the very top of 3rd. Started reeling him in quick in 4th, and put him roughly a car length back by the finish. The owner was awesome. talked to him for a while and sat on the car to see what it was like. Felt great to beat my dream car, but a little bittersweet in knowing ill never be able to afford one.  Car is now down until I figure what's going on with the clutch. |

Great run... I assume you have another angle of the run? I thought you mentioned something about having two cameras. Great video...I love those Ford GT cars.
