is that a white ZR1 i see in the last pic....? lookin good though, hopefully you do get it back next weekend.! Yeah, that's their new "shop car" they picked up last month. They recently threw a big list of parts at it and made 767/735, getting it ready for the 1/2 Mile Runway Shootout in June.

Car is done! Numbers are a bit lower than expected, but I'm relatively happy with the results. Can't wait to get it home after all this time. Comparison: stock shortblock with Vortech v3 Supercharger (10psi) vs built shortblock, pulley swap (12psi), and blower cam

Roughly 70rwhp with a 2 Psi bump sounds about right to me. Especially on pump gas, I would want to keep timing on the conservative side as well.

Which is a good thing. Cams don't necessarily add horsepower, but rather move the curve to the right. While I am sure they helped peak power some, the great advantage of having cams is that you will continue to make power at higher rpm.

The correct cam will make more hp on just about every combo

Car is home safe and sound, with a huge thanks to Lucky and Stick for driving all the way to the Chicago area and picking it up for me while I was out for the holiday weekend.
Getting the car back was bittersweet, unfortunately. It has a handful of problems that need to be ironed out. I have a few directions I'm going at the moment to try and address these issues, along with talking to the shop that did the work. Ill report back on this when things start moving forward.

Fueling part throttle for certain. I am looking at some things now to see if I can see anything in the tune that could be causing a super rich cold start issue. Haven't had the chance to log cold start yet though.

We didn't make any adjustments to the tune today. Simply gathering some data to possibly answer some questions about some issues Matt was having. However, after a brief sprinkle it was perfect. Matt is taking the car racing Sunday. I didn't datalog wideband today and Matts wideband is inop at the moment, however, I believe the tune to be sound at WOT. I didn't want to take the chance of adjusting something now to where he could have a problem then. Also, I didn't have time to do a full Speed Density tune before Sunday.

Any idea why the wideband is inop? Not sure if you had a chance to look under it or anything.

So it just isn't running smoothly or what else?

So it just isn't running smoothly or what else? It's running excessively rich during regular driving, cruising and stop/go traffic. It blows a lot of smoke during light acceleration and also has some bucking when cruising around. There are a lot of other issues as well, mechanical and general quality of work, but I'm going to discuss all of this with Speed Inc before I mention too much in a forum. I want them to hear it from me first before hearing of it 2nd hand. They know most of it, but there were several more things found today. Most importantly though, the new motor seems to be stout and there are no major concerns with it. Everything seems to be running perfectly fine. I would just like to see if we can work on the tune a bit.
