Last night, at about 10:30pm I raced a Blue 91-95ish DSM (Talon,Eclipse, ect) It was at the 23rd Ave light that is broken right now (down by burger king/winner circle). I started to play in 2nd with a 1/2 car lead, and when he punched it at about 40, i did the same. I think I had about 3 cars by 90, that and a realization I needed to slow the fuck down...........Man, i dont miss my beretta! haha

First gen dsm is 90 to 94, if it had pop up headlights then it was a 90 to 91. was it turbo?

haha, doesn't that question answer itself? Im REALLY nervous about racing on 23rd ave, especially on that part. AND I had Zertuche with me, and he told me your car ran mid 11s i think, so you would've stomped my ass. If you wanna add a win to your list though, I would be up for a late night 50-120 run somewhere! Stop into advance sometime, i wanna see that car.
The DSM was a turbo, had we raced from a dig, he would've eaten me alive. My car kicks ass from rolls.

You should've raced the Volo with the turbo'd I5. That Volvo was running a lot quicker than me. I had some horrible problems with traction! I was getting 15.8s with 95 mph trap speeds, and horrible lame 2.7-8 60' times. This car is really hard to drive, it gets a lot of wheel spin in first and second, on top of having a boost limiter in both gears. I should be running 14.8/14.9 stock, and I have slight mods. Granted, It was my first time at the track, I wasn't expecting miracles, but i sure wasn't expecting to be slower than my beretta either. That track was cold as shit too. On the street, 2nd gets some good spin at the 1-2 shift, but nothing after that. On the track, i was lightly spinning all the way through 2nd every run. Once i get the Stg II software, it will get rid of 2nd gear boost limiiter, and give me a lot more top end too. I just need new tires (im already runnining Potenza RE550s, but i guess i'll have to go with Azenis) to fix the wheelspin problem. I am also going to take it to IDC as soon as possible to get a dyno, and see if i have a posssible boost leak. |

so what type of motor comes in that car of yours?
Oh and was there a big dent in the drivers side door of that dsm? If there was I know the kid, and he runs high 14's

My car has never gone mid 11s. Best it did was 12.20@120 and I wasn't even driving it. You missed out, it was N/A last night no blower. In any case I get on the big ol' jet airliner tomorrow so you will have to race one of my buddies driving it around.

I didn't think you were gonna race but I guess you were just setting yourself up!  I got a ticket in that same spot a year ago and got my license suspended for 6 months. Sweet car by the way!!  |

Yes I did go WOT but I never take it over 6 grand. 170k kinda scares me and plus I don't know what the previous owner did to it.  I do need a boost leak tester. But I just haven't gotten around to getting one yet. MODS: 3" SS down pipe with 3" Cat. 2.5 from there to the end. K&N, MBC. FWD I have ran into you before spoolin. SRT-4 with black stripes and black stock rims? Pretty sick car.  |

With 170k miles I'd worry about other things than a boost leak first. Might look into checking your compression. You'll never know how previous owners have driven there/your car, but you can always tell how they took care of it See ya around |

Fix your boost leaks and find me sometime. I'm the only black 95 GS-T I've seen so far in the QC area. I'm sure there's another one somewhere, but I've yet to cross them. Do you have alteza tail lights? I might have followed you out of wally world a few times. |

im not saying my car is a speed machine, its a 14.5-14.8 car. I will be up for roll races against anyone though, not saying i will win, but I will sure as hell do a lot better than from a dig.
