Smoke huh? I started a thread because we wanted to come out and drag race. Maybe put a little money on it, but now you guys are throwing race cars at us and worried that our "cam only" car has some nasty heads/cam/nitrous or some shit like that. If you guys are worried that we are trying to take your money and are just going to throw race cars at our street cars, tell me. We will not even waste our time coming out there if its going to be some BULLSHIT. Thats why I wanted to get away from rockford/chitown, thought you guys might be cool but I guess you guys are the same as the rest....

Theres really no point in building a car for performance, if you arnt going to go all the way. Nobody stops and says, "Well shit, I'm in the 13's now. I might as well stop where I'm at." The only reason people stop is loss of money. So if they really have enough money to bet on a race, you can sure as hell bet that they just cant put that money anywhere else on thier car.

Theres a point where everyones car gets a little racecarish, but when we tell you we are bringing out a cam only ls1 you automatically assume its some stupid race car that weighs nothing, you think the pistons have been flycut, that were spraying it yadda yadda yadda, then you throw some single digit cars at us... That would be like you saying yea, im bringing out my bolt on honda civic and us telling you were gunna drag your shit with a full bolt on ls1.....DUHHHH Its not even gunna be a race. We just wanna come out and fucking dragrace and gamble, not to argue about what a car has done to it. But if you guys wanna gamble on mods, we can do that too. I got a grand that says the heads have NEVER been off our cam only ls1. Anyone wanna take that bet? |

So what if one of us brings out significantly faster (or slower for that matter)car, theres negotiations on lengths. Racing more about consistency than speed. I'd rather know I could run between a 13.00 and a 13.10 all day rather than possibly running a once a month 12.8 and gambling on that.

I'm not real big on betting on the negotiation rather than how fast your car is. I think I would rather loose heads up than win spotted out cars. Thats just my opinion.

I agree, heads up or go home. What is this negotiation crap anyways, sounds like another bad episode of pinks. Listening to whiney ass bitches say that they brought junk and your driving a million dollar car blah blah blah, give me this, dont use that, one one stage this.. talking about getting old fast..This thread is already 15 pages to long. Bring what you need to win, race what you bring.. or just stay home.
